New Lite-On drive!
Well we had come some way when the first Lite-On was hacked but alas Microsoft have released a new revision to the Lite-On which again has landed us in un-hackable land lol. The drive has only been seen by a few people and the top dogs assure us it can be written to the same but a new method will need to be thought of to extract the drives key. You wanna be looking out for FW Ver: 83850C on the drives cover to know if your unlucky enough.

I see something about this on another thread.
The question is now....."Is it really unhackable!!!" My monies riding on NO! Ok gonzo i think we should collab and run a book on how long before its hacked!

It can already be written to exactly the same as the other drive but we don't know how to extract the key yet. It shouldn't be long before it's doable.

Liteon 83850c solution
As far as i no the new liteon-83850c,are only being sent back from microsoft,on some repaired consoles,i found this from Team HyperX, which is of corse good
news,as they dont mess around.....  quote- The LiteOn revision 83850c that has been mainly coming out of repair centers in europe has been fully dumped. More details will come as the firmware is fully decrypted, but at the very worst we have a work-around if all known backdoors are disabled. A solution for this model will NOT be released to public until this version becomes mainstream. E.g. is being shipped commercially with new xbox360's.
