well, this morning i went to turn 360 on, and went i put call of duty 4 in, it started making this vmmmmmmmmmmmmm sound, like as if the power cord wasnt in right, if you know that type of sound, but iv checked everything, and still nothing.. any help please?

sound to me like someone plant a timer bomb what u need to do is wait for someone to go up close and lay down as there starting to decatavite the bomb get a knife or a gun and shoot them hope this helps..

Anyway, usually if there are loud sounds coming from your 360 it's usually coming from one of two things:

1. Your Disc Drive
2. Your fan

If you are hearing it from your power brick, there is a fan in there that cools it off if it gets too hot, so just unplug it and let it chill for a while. Make sure it's heavily ventilated and without any obstructions to the openings on the sides/top/bottom.
