The PlayStation 3 version of Resident Evil 5 recently received a 38 MB patch, which brings the game to version 1.03. The patch, which is exclusive to the PlayStation 3 version of the game, only appears to remove the protection scheme from the saved data, which means that PS3 owners can now transfer their save data to other devices/accounts.

To download the patch, make sure your PS3 is connected to the internet, and then launch the game. You should be prompted to download it.



So now you should try uploading your saves people!

Yeah, just downloaded the patch and it seems to work--it'd be awesome if someone upped a maxed out final save.
