I do NOT like unlocking stuff in games. And I have a VERY valid reason why I don't.
What if there's this brutally difficult thing you have to accomplish in order to unlock something valuable, like a character or something, and you're virtually unable to do it, even though you've tried your absolute hardest? My point exactly.
A perfect example of this: Tekken 6. I loved Tekken 5 (It's my favorite game), and even though the stuff in there was relatively easy to unlock, I was able to use a save file for it because it wasn't protected. Tekken 6, however, is the exact opposite:
You have to go through the extremely tough Scenario Campaign mode in order to unlock characters to play as in Story Battle. I can't do it. Why?
Because it's too frickin' hard!! Not only that, most of the character endings are so stupid and pointless, sometimes I wonder if they're even worth all the trouble. That's one of the reasons I bought the PSP version, so I could see every character's idiotic ending without the frustration of Scenario Campaign.
I'll say this right now: I HATE protected save files. I know they were made to keep online rankings from getting screwed up, but it's unfair to people like me who just want to have a complete game. I ESPECIALLY hate the people who call using other save files cheating, because just wanting a complete game should NOT be considered that.
I want to find a way to un-protect save files, not only for the PS3, but for the PSP as well. When I still had an XBOX 360, I actually
was able to un-protect saves via a special method. If it was possible for XBOX, then there should be a way to do it for Sony's systems.
I came here because you people know all about save files and save hacking. Is there a way to un-protect save files for the PS3 and PSP. If there is, and if you can teach me how to do it, I'll be eternally in your debt.
